I just woke up from a nap. I don’t usually take naps, but I took this one before it took me. I need to be awake and alert this afternoon as if my life depended on it. I think the nap will help.
In other news, today is a rest day on my training schedule for the half marathon in October. I am enjoying not running, but I’m looking forward to running another day.
For the rest of this post, I will note that having emergency supplies of food has provided some rest to my mind on a few occasions where eating the provided food would have sent my sugar addiction into a frenzy.
